Who is Franc?

Franc is short for Frances, my paternal grandmother. What started as a placeholder (stylized as FRANC.), ultimately became the name of the platform I’m building and curating DAILY. I kept it as another way to honor and pay homage to her.  

The initial idea for FRANC. was a platform for shopping + item availability needs similar to the no longer in operation P.S. Dept., a personal shopping, styling platform that sourced luxury fashion worldwide. Read more about P.S. Dept. on The Cut’s article here.

FRANC. has since evolved to focus on discovering independent brands across online platforms and physical/IRL boutique floors.

I’ve held onto this ideas for over a decade, and I’m finally bringing it out of concept mode. I’ll share more on the inner workings and mechanics over time.
