What I’m Building…by 2030
Shaping what I want to build and better understanding my “why.”
With a pulse on culture, consumer behavior, and future trends, and anchored by 17 years of experience in marketing and strategy, I’ve begun using foresight tools to explore where my ideas and initiatives might be headed by the year 2030. It’s a year close enough to shape with intention and just far enough to imagine without limitations.
This series is a creative and strategic experiment, powered by tools that use a combination of location, timeframe, and theme-based prompts to generate forward-looking, emerging and speculative insights. I’ll be using it to surface ideas across sectors I care deeply about: The future of retail, hospitality, and travel, arts, sustainability, and cultural expression at large.
The foundation for everything I’m building now is grounded in a few strategic priorities:
- Build a portfolio of purpose-led businesses
- Expand brand visibility through storytelling
- Establish creative partnerships and collaborations
Over the next few posts, I’ll start to break these down, connecting each one to real projections and imagined applications using the foresight tool as a launchpad.
I’m going to begin where most of my ideas do: with storytelling.
